Battery Recall Intelligence

Model-specific recall data for power-bank flight verdicts.

CertiWatt tracks public power-bank recalls at the exact model and serial/batch level so travel verdicts can block affected units without penalizing an entire brand.

Short answer

An active recall only changes a verdict when the exact catalog model and affected serial or batch evidence match. Same-brand devices do not inherit a recall unless they have their own model-specific record.

Matching policy

Active affected serials return a banned verdict. A model with an active recall but no serial returns a warning and asks for serial verification. Non-matching models remain not affected.

API surface

Use /api/recalls for the public recall list, /api/devices/[modelId]/recalls for one model, and device_resolved.recalls inside /api/verify for verdict-specific recall evidence.
